INDIA SUMMER DAYS 2024: Experience Indian culture up close as part of DAS FEST
India is very close again this year, at least in Karlsruhe, as the INDIA SUMMER DAYS will once again take place as part of DAS FEST, southern Germany's largest family festival. The location on the active playground in the Günther-Klotz-Anlage will once again be transformed into an authentic Indian village offering a wide range of activities. Music, dance, culinary delights, spices, yoga, arts and crafts, a bazaar with jewelry and textiles, henna painting, creative activities, puppet shows, cricket and information events: Visitors can immerse themselves in Indian culture with the numerous authentic offers and hands-on activities. The event takes place under the patronage of Minister President Winfried Kretschmann and in partnership with the Indian Consulate General in Munich and the Indian Honorary Consulate in Stuttgart.
INDIA SUMMER DAYS are a model for success
With over 50,000 enthusiastic visitors, the INDIA SUMMER DAYS in Karlsruhe have been one of the largest India festivals in Germany since their premiere in 2017 - with great international appeal. They also provide a special space for the long-standing and good Indo-German relations. This year, the focus will once again be on Maharashtra, the state with which the state of Baden-Württemberg and the city of Karlsruhe are connected. Together with strong partners, it will once again be possible to present a varied program, again with free admission, that offers Indian culture and tradition in an authentic way. In addition, the INDIA SUMMER DAYS will once again take place under the patronage of Minister President Winfried Kretschmann and in partnership with the Indian Consulate General in Munich and the Indian Honorary Consulate in Stuttgart.
