Acoustic soul straight from the heart ... From an early age, Benjakob has loved and lived the countless shades of voice, his own melodies, lyrics and their sounds. This has been clear to him ever since his first punk bands at the end of the 1990s. 25 years, 1,000 records listened to and countless stages played as a singer and songwriter later, he released his debut album “Iberian Peninsula” in 2022. Nothing is more important at this time than bringing people around the world together, it seems to him. It's been a long time since the turmoil and discrepancies were as palpable as they have been recently. Benjakob sings against this development. Not only because he himself has two nationalities and ancestors from very different points of the compass. But also because of his lyrical bilingualism in English and German. Even when he captivates large audiences with his voice and guitar, he has a fine band with him, in which double bass, drums and flugelhorn provide wonderful accents.
