PALM VALLEY
FeldbühneSaturday13:00
The quartet Palm Valley from Stuttgart and Karlsruhe is recommended to all those who miss the unadulterated guitar sound and appreciate real rock 'n' roll spirit. Alternative rock, preferably in German, with hard, driving beats and loose, rocky, snotty sounds allow the four to meet softer, ballad-like moments that work as little breaks between the harder passages and strike a chord with the listener without becoming cheesy. Frontman Peer's voice is sometimes reminiscent of Armin from the Beatsteaks or early Anthony Kiedis from the RHCP, Spinat's guitar board hammers its way mercilessly and precisely into the heads of the listeners, Benni and Max nail the groove directly into the stomach area on bass and drums. In short: an explosive mix of experienced musicians who have already been on the road with many bands.
