The recipe: a can of bass, a handful of drums and a pinch of electronic beat signal, well stirred into a stew with cult potential. Emil and Johnny have been in the musical kitchen together for over ten years and are now in their self-discovery phase after a turbulent school career. Over the past few years, the two have established themselves in the Karlsruhe area as an address for hip-hop lovers and cosmopolitan music fans with their sensitive grooves, jazzy melodies and traditional beatmaking and sampling influences, inspiring audiences across all scenes with their compact and humorous live set. What once began as a subtle breeze in Karlsruhe's Weststadt district has now moved down the Rhine to Cologne as an aromatic scent. They are joined by Stuttgart gourmet and word virtuoso Yoshi Tschira, who has accompanied them since the early days and whose sophisticated, personal lyrics and effortless flows are the ideal complement to the two-man beat package.
