Themis

Themis draws his listeners to the dark side of rock music. He skilfully blends the dark with the bittersweet and emotional and combines it with a large portion of queer power and punk attitude. He and his live band cast an almost magical spell over the audience. The release of the 2020 debut album ‘The Heavy Door’ and the subsequent headline tour were celebrated by fans and music blogs. Themis and his band then dedicated themselves to writing, recording and producing a new EP. ‘Thalassa’ offers a deeper look into Themis' dark and disturbing musical blend of garage rock, indie and post-punk and is reminiscent of bands such as The Kills, PJ Harvey and The Black Angels.
